Cuenta con nómina

Cuenta con nómina means a bank account where you receive your monthly salary. Now the question is what will happen if you have 2-3 accounts in different banks but you receive only one salary. We face this problem & now we are going to share our experience which we have on this issue.

We live in Spain but time to time we do international travels. We have seen that our visa card issued from a local Spanish bank (Cajamar) works well at some places in abroad to take out local currency from ATM card machines but at many places we were unable to take out currency. We open a new account in a non Spanish bank (Ingdirect) to solve this problem. The bank provides us a master card. Thus, we hold accounts in two different banks, a physical visa card and a physical master card, and the banks provide you virtual cards also. We were happy because our problem is solved. But recently we received an email from Ingdirect bank notifying us to bring our monthly salary deposit to their bank, and thus converting our "cuenta sin nómina" account to "cuenta con nómina" account, otherwise, we have to pay 3 euros per month to keep our account active in bank, besides our bank card will expire at its expiry date & a new card will not be issued and we only can use virtual card. But, if we bring our salary deposit or minimum 700 euros per month deposit from another bank, which is the minimum salary in Spain, the bank will retain all the facility as such as we are using up to now. Now the question is what we have to do in this case. Should we cancel our account in one bank? Suppose we are at minimum salary each month, then what we can do?

Here is the roles of friends. A friend can provide you suggestions & help you on such issues. We discussed above issue one day with one of our friends. He does farming & has a company to justify salary, receive public grants, purchasing agri instruments, and sell agricultural products in the market (multipurpose). During talk he informed us having several accounts in different banks but each one is configured to transfer automatically 700 euros per month to another bank account. Suppose, bank 1 transfers 700 euros to bank 2 on day 26th of each month. Now bank 2, after one day, will transfer same amount of money to bank 3, and bank 3 will transfer same money to bank 1 after one day of receiving money. So in one week the money is deposited again in your principal bank which you use normally. Thus, all the banks have received the minimum salary of 700 euros each month & now they are bound to provide the facility which they were providing up to now.

Don't seems it is totally data game? To minimize the impact of Covid pandemic on business, the banks are coming with new types of agreements. Probably, such agreements provide government supports as grants to banks or there may be other reasons. We exactly don't know the game behind such new agreements of banks. But, clearly, those who have more than one accounts are suffering from these bank notifications of "Cambios en acuerdos".

If someone does not earn 700 euros per month due to temperory & partial few hours employment, then how this issue will be solved? Or suppose one does not know how to do setting in online account for each month periodic transfer of 700 euros one to another account or the person does not know anything regarding 700 euros transfer can solve the issue. We ourself did not know earlier if our friend has not informed us what to do in such case. It is really true that banks are always binding the bank users with more & more agreements & most of these agreements are not in favour of the bank users, although each bank receives enough money as interest by investing the deposited money in different local, national or international public or private business plans.
