Feria y Fiestas de Valladolid 2022
We do daily visit of this festival because it is at 5 minutes walk from our home. More concretely we can say we live inside this festival area because we can reach in 1 minute to few street shops for foods with beer, in Spanish we call them "Casetas", from our home. Of course, we have to walk in center of city where main events are going on every day & it is totally crowded.
We like to take photos & videos everywhere either we are attending a private lunch party or visiting any event which is organized by our city hall. We don't have a big Nikon camera but we have a Redmi 10 mobile phone for this purpose. You can find such mobile phones from our collection. Later on all these photos and videos we merge to create one or several 10 to 15 minutes long video, do video editing to make attractive to bring attention of our channel viewers & then we upload it to our YouTube channel Latestfotocom. Here, on this page, we are writing what we have seen & how we celebrate the day and night each day of festival. So you keep reading regularly this article because we will update it regularly as we go with festival. Of course, maybe we will miss some day because we decide to stay at home on that day for avoiding crowds & noise.
2nd September
This is first day when city mayor inagurates officially the festival with few artists that belong to Valladolid but now they are famous at national level. All of them succeed to deliver speeches to motivate & encourage people to enjoy the festival after a gap of 3 years due to Covid pandemic (2019, 2020, 2021). At the end of speech, the young university students start to arrive for throwing wine on each other, thus converting a very festive environment in the center of city. Today we catch the city autobus to do 30 minutes travel to reach Valladolid football ⚽ stadium because regional food stands (Casetas Regional) are placed here including open places for artificial fireworks 🎆🎇, big wheels (Noria) and other fair attractions for kids & adults. We enjoy all these by being the part of crowd. Watch following video to know our movements.
8th September
Today a famous American singer Jason Derulo in Valladolid to perform his show in center of the city. He come from America, which is very far from Spain, doing travel trans Atlantic ocean. This is his first show in Spain as we have read somewhere. This afternoon at 2 pm we have seen many Spanish youngers sitting in front of stage to be in first row when the show will start at 11 pm at night 🌃🌉. This is the creziness for singer Jason Derulo. 9th September
We decided to stay at home.
10th September
We meet few of our regular friends with whom we meet time to time for caffee, lunch or dinner party 🥳🎉. Nevertheless, the organizer of meeting for having a walk on street, eating street food & watching conciert informed us at last moment that she cannot attend due to heavy loose motion problem due to day before foods which ate. Moreover, all of us met at 8 pm & till 4:30 am we were visiting one to another casetas & enjoying the street foods, even we visited a bar also.
11th September
Fin de fiestas de Valladolid. Today is end of 10 days festival of Valladolid. We went to have a walk on the street in afternoon & to look if casetas are open. Most of the casetas were closed but few of them are still open & serving beer with a tapa in 3 euros 20 cents. In city main square a local conciert was going on which we watched few minutes before returning to our home.
