Why do Indian Prefer Government Job

अपने देश में सरकारी नौकरियों को लेकर आकर्षण का एक बड़ा कारण नौकरी की सुरक्षा की गारंटी है।

Government Job provides you a security to retain & continuity at your job position in all over the world including India. 

Nevertheless, India does not have implemented a social security system as many countries have implemented in their job market to provide a security by removing uncertainty to employees working from a base to top level. 

For example, a waiters working a small restaurant in India is not so much protected as it is many other countries. Legally may be, but in real at implementation lever, it is not so. 

Majority of people in India work in small companies, shops, rasturants, private small agencies and enteties. Therefore, most of private jobs holders, day & night, worry about job because of lack of implementation of legal protection. Of course, most of them are not declared by the private employers that they work in their companies. This makes more worried situation. Private company can terminate an employee anytime which happens rarely in government job.  This is the reason why a government job is still attractive for Indian youth. 

Social security system is implemented deeply with a country infrastructure in many countries. No company can hire an employee without declaring, in tax & labour departments of government, that this employee is hired for a job position in the company. Hiring without declaration is illegal. Employee can inform to government agencies for illegal hiring if situation at work location & responsibilities is not in favour. In this case, the company has to pay a big penalty to government agencies as well as hired person. To avoid this situation, company prefer to hire an employee through legal procedures. 

Government agencies have real data of employment this way and can able to provide support, under social security system, if someone becomes unemployed due to any reason such as unemployment salary for few months or till getting a new job. Thus, a private employee faces less pressure of fears of losing job which happens in India. Of course, in India, private job holders become habitual of this uncertainty after working in few places.
