Are you a blogger or website owner and using google analytics to track visitors on your blog or website, then you are at right place. Keep reading.
I also use google analytics to track visitors on my blog.
Google analytics provides enough data for knowing origin and behaviour of the web visitors. We can know country, city and area of the visitors, internet browser that has been used to open your blog or website, visitor behaviour, visitor time pass reading your content and many other useful information.
Google analytics tracks every visit including your own visits on your blog or website. This creats a problem because you are unable to know that visitors data that are showing it is due to your own visits or someone else are visiting your blog or website.
Nevertheless, google analytics provides option to exclude the data generated by your visits from total data. You can exclude IP address of your own electronic devices (desktop, laptop, mobile phone, Ipad).
How to do it? I have show in this video. Watch it and tell me if you still have any question.
This is done by filter setting. You have to login in google analytics, then click on admin or setting and find filter setting. Open it. Then select costum>exclude>country>write name of country.
In filter setting section of google analytics you can find many other options including excluding IP address of your own electronic devices.
Write in google browser IP address of this device, this will tell IP address of your device which you are using.
Hope this help you solving your problem. Is it solved? Write your response in comment section.
