Amar Singh was an Indian politician born on 27 January 1956 in Azamgarh in the state of Uttar Pradesh of the India. He was one of the principal leaders of the Samajwadi Party, worked as a general secretary of the Samajwadi Party and was a member of the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian parliament. He died on 1st August 2020 in Singapore where he was under treatments for severe illness. His Spouse name is Pankaja Kumari Singh (m. 1987). He has two Children: Drishti Singh, Disha Singh. His Books: Religion in Politics: Gandhian Perspective in the Present Context.
