News of Spain in Newspapers of India

How Spanish Events Reach the Indian Audience

In an increasingly interconnected world, international news travels across borders within seconds. For Indian readers, global developments are often filtered through the lens of major national newspapers and digital media platforms. Among European countries, Spain occasionally appears in Indian newspapers due to its political developments, tourism appeal, economic ties, sports achievements, and cultural heritage. Understanding how news about Spain is presented in India provides an interesting perspective on international journalism, global awareness, and the relationship between two culturally rich nations.

Spain in the Global News Landscape

Spain is one of the largest economies in Europe and a member of the European Union. Because of its political influence, tourism industry, technological development, and international cultural presence, events in Spain often attract global attention. Indian newspapers typically report on Spain when major political events, economic developments, international diplomacy, or major social issues arise.

Although Spain is geographically distant from India, the country remains relevant to Indian readers due to global interconnectedness, the presence of Indian professionals and students in Spain, and shared interests in areas such as tourism, sports, and trade.

Major Indian Newspapers That Report on Spain

Several prominent Indian newspapers regularly publish international news. Coverage of Spain usually appears in the world news or international affairs sections. Some of the major publications include:

  • The Times of India
  • The Hindu
  • Hindustan Times
  • The Indian Express
  • Business Standard
  • The Economic Times

These newspapers often rely on international news agencies such as Reuters, Associated Press (AP), and Agence France-Presse (AFP) to provide timely and reliable updates about developments in Spain.

Political News from Spain

Political developments in Spain occasionally become significant headlines in Indian newspapers, particularly when they affect European politics or international relations. Examples include national elections, coalition government negotiations, regional independence movements, and policy debates.

For instance, discussions related to Catalonia’s independence movement received coverage in India because of its implications for democracy, constitutional law, and regional autonomy. Indian newspapers often explain the historical and political context of such issues so that readers unfamiliar with Spanish politics can understand the situation.

Similarly, changes in government leadership, parliamentary decisions, or diplomatic relations with other countries may also attract attention from Indian media outlets.

Economic and Business News

Spain’s economic developments also appear in Indian financial newspapers and business sections. Topics commonly reported include:

  • Economic growth and unemployment rates
  • Spanish tourism industry performance
  • European Union economic policies affecting Spain
  • Trade relations between India and Spain
  • Investments by Spanish companies in India

Major Spanish multinational companies operating in sectors such as infrastructure, renewable energy, and fashion sometimes appear in Indian business news when they expand operations or collaborate with Indian firms.

Sports: A Major Source of Spanish News in India

One of the most frequent ways Spanish news reaches Indian readers is through sports coverage. Spain is globally known for its football culture, and Indian newspapers regularly report on matches from Spanish football leagues and international tournaments.

Achievements of Spanish football clubs, international tournaments, and performances of famous athletes are widely covered. Major tournaments like the FIFA World Cup, UEFA competitions, and European football leagues generate extensive coverage in India.

Spanish athletes in sports such as tennis, basketball, and motor racing also receive attention when they perform well in global competitions.

Tourism and Cultural Coverage

Spain is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the world, and travel sections of Indian newspapers frequently highlight Spanish cities, historical monuments, and cultural experiences. Articles often feature destinations such as Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Valencia, and Granada.

Indian readers are particularly interested in Spain’s architectural heritage, Mediterranean lifestyle, gastronomy, and vibrant festivals. Travel writers often describe iconic attractions such as historic cathedrals, art museums, and coastal landscapes.

Food culture is another topic that occasionally appears in Indian lifestyle sections. Spanish cuisine, including tapas, paella, and Mediterranean dishes, is sometimes featured in culinary articles.

Social Issues and International Events

Indian newspapers also report on major social developments in Spain when they have broader international relevance. Examples include:

  • Public health issues
  • Environmental policies
  • Climate change initiatives
  • Immigration debates
  • Public protests and social movements

Such coverage usually appears when Spain’s experiences provide insights into global challenges or when policies adopted in Spain influence discussions in other countries.

Spain–India Relations in the News

Another important area of coverage involves diplomatic relations between Spain and India. When leaders from the two countries meet or sign agreements related to trade, technology, education, or cultural exchange, Indian newspapers often report these developments.

Spain and India cooperate in areas such as renewable energy, infrastructure development, tourism promotion, and scientific research. Reports about bilateral visits, trade agreements, or collaborative projects highlight the growing partnership between the two nations.

The Role of Digital Media

While traditional newspapers remain influential in India, digital news platforms have significantly expanded the availability of international news. Online editions of major Indian newspapers update global news more frequently than their printed counterparts.

Indian readers can now access real-time updates about events in Spain through websites, mobile applications, and social media channels. This digital transformation has made international news more accessible and has increased awareness about countries like Spain among Indian audiences.

How Indian Readers Perceive Spain Through News

The portrayal of Spain in Indian newspapers often emphasizes certain themes: cultural richness, tourism appeal, football success, and European political dynamics. These narratives help shape the perception of Spain among Indian readers.

For many Indians, Spain represents a combination of historical heritage, modern European lifestyle, artistic traditions, and sporting excellence. Media coverage plays an important role in reinforcing these images.

Conclusion

News about Spain in Indian newspapers reflects the broader patterns of global journalism. Political developments, economic trends, sports achievements, cultural attractions, and diplomatic relations all contribute to the presence of Spain in Indian media.

As globalization continues to connect societies, international news coverage will likely expand further. Indian readers will continue to learn about Spain through newspapers, digital media platforms, and international reporting networks. This exchange of information not only strengthens global awareness but also encourages cultural understanding between nations separated by geography but connected through media and shared global interests.

Real Game of Import Export & Billing in War Era

Currently whole world is under worry due to every day news which we receive through news alerts, television news and newspapers.

Social media provide additional meals of news but in general we do not trust so much on social media as we trust on television news and newspapers.

However, this trust is also slowly a slowly moving towards untrust because many of these news clearly show the impacts of regional policies.

From America, normally we receive news which is in favour of America and same happen with Europe, Russia, India and Australia.

We can receive same news written in a such manner that impact us negatively but that news we receive from a specific area.

Now we can receive the same news from another reason and that impact us positively.

It clearly seems these news are made and delivered to public to gain the sympathy.

We have heard and received tons of news delivered every day to us through television channels, newspapers and social media about economic and trade sanctions on Russia but never on Israel in this war era.

Interesting is now no one is afraid from these sanctions because it seems there is no impact.

Economic and trade sanctions close one door of import and export of goods and services but same time they have opened another door for trade.

We found one very interesting article: https://www.xataka.com/magnet/kirguizistan-vive-fiebre-importadora-mercancia-alemana-hay-quien-ve-puerta-trasera-antisanciones-putin

After reading this article, any one can think and ask "these sanctions, principly imposed by USA and European countries, on Russia are for what? And the propagated news about the santions are only for generating public sympathy?'.

The authors of this article explained very well with data and graph that exportation of cars and equipments parts from Germany to a nearby country of Russia has a tremendous increase although the population of this nearly country and the economy of the region is not so big to consume all these supply from Germany. One can thing where they are supplied.

The text for topic we select "Real Game of Import Export & Billing in War Era" because it seems it is working in this war era.

Billing, import and export are on another name due to sanctions but supplies are to target country which receive them from decades.

Authors of this article emphasize it very clearly.

Moreover, war era must finish as early as possible because no one of the whole world like loss of human life.

Many movies are made only for business. Famous actors, good scenes, actresses in mini dresses or naked, very impressive fight scene are parts of business movie. But JOYFUL movie is based on theater & artists.

Comedian Raju Srivastava dies 💀 ☠️in New Delhi hospital 🏥

This morning 🌅🌄 when I wake up, I read the newspapers, as usually everyday I do as my first activity after opening my eyes 👀, to know what is going on in whole world 🌎🌍. Specially, I focus on Indian 📰 🗞️ newspaper because I am from India & I can read & understand Hindi very easily & quickly. I do read BBC hindi, AmarUjala, Jagran, Dainik Bhaskar, Navbharttimes, and sometimes I read news on websites of NDTV, AajTak televisions etc. There are so many available on Internet.

This morning 🌻🌄 on 21 September 2022 when I open my mobile phone 📱 to read news 🗞️, I surprise because the first news is to inform that Comedian Raju Srivastava died today at the age of 58 years (1963-2022). Through news, from many days, everyone knew already he is admitted on 10th August 2022 in AIIMS Delhi after a cardiac arrest in a zym of a hotel in New Delhi where he is staying from last 4 days & at present, in Delhi hospital, he is in coma & on ventilator with life supporting system.

Raju Srivastava is a world famous comedian originally from Kanpur city of India. It's big loss for his family as well as whole 😭😞 India and Indian community whereever it is settled. I also felt sad, although I normally don't watch videos of his performance on comedy. Sometimes I have watched few videos on YouTube.

But I like him always because such artist is always a precious gem of India who has skills to bring a 😊😁 smile on our face, from his artistic performance, in our busy schedule, thus we feel relaxed from our daily tension, at least, for few minutes.

One more secret is that I belong to Srivastava cast & Raju Srivastava also belongs to same cast, but this factor is not dominant over me. Everyone is human & God or Nature makes only human.  Even, the superstar Amitabh Bachchan also belongs to Srivastava cast. But, from my point of view, important is Raju Srivastava is, now was, a good artist who was able to give smile 😊😁 on the face of everyone by using his arts & skills. Millions of people receive a smile on face due to him.

Raju Srivastava was excellent 👌👍 in performing very good mimicry of Amitabh Bachchan. He earned fame due to his participation in a TV program "Laughter Challenge" & more recently he appeared as a participant in Salman Khan leaded "Big Boss" TV show besides he performed as an actor in Bollywood Movies; Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar, Bombay to Goa, and Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya, & many comedy shows.

Raju Srivastava is very well known to perform good mimicry of Lalu Yadav, Narendra Modi, Mulayam Singh Yadav and many other Indian politicians. Not only that, he joined Samajwadi Party at first but later on he shifted to Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP).

Modi Government assigned him as a brand ambassador of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

Thus, Raju Srivastava was involved in professional, social & political life. Of course, he left a family behind him (Family life). All of us have to stand with his family because this is the moment of life when a family needs support to overcome from sorrow. Nevertheless, sadness will never last forever.

I express my deep condolence on this loss.

Shat shat naman

flydubai

flydubai Why It Is in the News Today, Fares, Destinations and Owner

flydubai logo

flydubai is a Dubai-based airline that has suddenly become a top news topic on 30 September 2026 because of an incident on one of its flights. This guide explains the news, who owns the airline, what it offers, how much it costs and where it flies.

Why Is flydubai in the News Today?

Flight FZ 1073 from Dubai International (DXB) to Tel Aviv (TLV) suffered an incident while in route. The airline confirmed that the aircraft landed safely at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia and that all passengers were safe and accounted for.

Media reports describe a cockpit struggle in which the captain was stabbed and the co-pilot was subdued, and Israeli officials have called it a serious security incident. Passengers were later flown on to Israel on another flydubai flight. Israel's transport minister has reportedly asked for flights to be suspended until the facts are clear, while others argue the UAE and the airline should be allowed to complete a full investigation.

Note: this is a developing story. Details are based on current reports and may change after the official investigation.

Who Owns flydubai?

flydubai is a government-owned airline of Dubai. It began operations in June 2009 with its first flights to Beirut and Amman, and its hub is Dubai International Airport. It is a separate company from Emirates but works closely with it through a partnership.

Is flydubai Cheap or Costly?

flydubai is positioned as a low-cost or hybrid carrier. Economy fares are usually cheaper than those of full-service airlines on the same routes, and the airline also sells a Business Class cabin. Extras such as checked baggage, seat selection and meals may cost more on the lowest fares, so always compare the final price before booking.

Services and Onboard Experience

  • Economy and Business Class cabins on a Boeing 737 MAX and 737-800 fleet.
  • Partnership with Emirates for connections through Dubai: a combined network of 214+ destinations and 4,600+ possible connections.
  • Starlink announced as its in-flight connectivity partner in March 2026.
  • A cabin retrofit programme that starts in September 2026.
  • Fleet growth: about 100 aircraft, with 11 more deliveries planned in 2026.

Flight Destinations

flydubai reports about 2,200 flights a week to more than 125 destinations in 56 countries. These include:

  • Middle East: Bahrain, Jordan, Israel (Tel Aviv) and others.
  • Asia: Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Central Asia.
  • Europe: Prague, Sofia, Tirana, Sarajevo and seasonal Croatia routes.
  • Africa and the Caucasus: several routes, including Baku and Yerevan.

Routes change often, and some were suspended during regional disruptions in 2026, so check the live schedule before you travel.

Why Passengers Choose flydubai

  • Direct links to cities that are not served by many other airlines.
  • Competitive fares with an optional Business Class.
  • Easy connections through Dubai with Emirates.
  • A large network for its size.

Is There a Zero Cost Ticket?

There is no official free flydubai ticket. Offers advertised as "zero fare" or "free ticket" are usually promotions where only part of the price is waived, and taxes and fees still apply. Book only through the official flydubai website, app or an authorised travel agent, and be careful with viral claims.

Should You Still Fly flydubai?

Airlines are required to meet strict safety regulations, and a single incident under investigation does not by itself show that an airline is unsafe. Follow official updates, check your flight status before going to the airport and keep your contact details updated in Manage Your Booking.

Quick Facts

  • Hub: Dubai International Airport
  • Started: June 2009
  • Owner: Government of Dubai
  • Type: Low-cost / hybrid carrier
  • Destinations: 125+ in 56 countries

Train Your Brain to Feel Happier

A bright yellow background with the bold black title "Train Your Brain to Feel Happier" and subtitle "Simple Habits That Work" above a large smiling face icon.

Simple Habits That Work

Did you know that happiness isn't just something that happens to you? Science shows that you can actually train your brain to feel happier by creating simple daily habits. The good news is, you don't need expensive tools or a life makeover. You just need to make small changes in your mindset and routine. In this guide, you'll learn how to train your brain to be happy and stay that way, even during stressful times.

Why It’s Important to Train Your Brain to Feel Happier

Our brains are wired to notice problems more than positives—a survival mechanism known as the “negativity bias.” This helped our ancestors stay alert in dangerous environments, but in today’s world, it often leads to chronic stress, anxiety, and dissatisfaction. The great news? You can rewire your brain through intentional practice to focus on the good, building resilience and a lasting sense of well-being.

1. Practice Gratitude Daily

One of the easiest and most effective ways to feel happier is by practicing gratitude. When you focus on what you’re thankful for, your brain releases dopamine and serotonin—feel-good neurotransmitters that boost your mood instantly.

  • Start a gratitude journal and write down 3 things you're thankful for each day.
  • Say "thank you" more often, even for small things.
  • Reflect on positive moments before going to bed.

These simple habits gradually train your brain to notice and appreciate the positive aspects of your life.

2. Reframe Negative Thoughts

It’s normal to experience negative thinking, but if left unchecked, it can lower your mood and energy. Cognitive reframing helps you look at challenges in a more balanced, realistic way.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Notice when you’re thinking something negative.
  2. Ask yourself if the thought is 100% true or just a reaction.
  3. Replace it with a kinder or more neutral perspective.

This process may seem small, but it’s powerful. Over time, it teaches your brain to think more positively and reduces the emotional impact of stress.

3. Build a Consistent Exercise Routine

Exercise isn’t just for physical health—it’s one of the best natural ways to feel happier. Physical activity increases the production of endorphins, often called the “happy hormones.”

To boost your mood:

  • Walk for 20–30 minutes a day.
  • Try activities you enjoy like dancing, yoga, or swimming.
  • Join a group or class to stay motivated and meet others.

Even small amounts of regular movement can improve your mental health, lower stress, and help you sleep better.

4. Meditate for a Calm and Clear Mind

Meditation helps train your brain to stay calm and focused, even in the middle of chaos. It reduces anxiety, improves concentration, and helps regulate emotions.

Start with just 5 minutes a day. Find a quiet spot, close your eyes, and focus on your breath. If your mind wanders, gently bring your attention back to your breathing. Over time, meditation strengthens parts of the brain associated with happiness and emotional balance.

You can also use guided meditation apps like Headspace, Calm, or Insight Timer if you’re just starting out.

5. Spend More Time in Nature

Being in nature is a natural stress reliever. It helps your brain relax, reduces cortisol levels (a stress hormone), and increases feelings of peace and joy.

Simple ways to connect with nature:

  • Take a daily walk in a nearby park or garden.
  • Go hiking or biking on weekends.
  • Practice outdoor mindfulness—listen to birds, observe the sky, feel the breeze.

Nature gives your brain a break from the digital world and brings you into the present moment—a key ingredient in happiness.

6. Cultivate Strong Social Connections

Humans are social creatures. Positive relationships are essential for emotional well-being. When you feel connected to others, your brain releases oxytocin, the “bonding hormone,” which reduces stress and increases trust and happiness.

Ways to strengthen relationships:

  • Make time to talk with friends or family regularly.
  • Join clubs, groups, or volunteer in your community.
  • Be a good listener and show empathy.

Even a short phone call or kind message can brighten your mood—and someone else’s too.

7. Limit News and Social Media Exposure

Too much negative news or constant social media scrolling can overwhelm your brain and lower your mood. While staying informed is important, your mental health matters too.

Here are a few ways to create balance:

  • Set time limits for apps and stick to them.
  • Follow accounts that inspire and uplift you.
  • Take regular digital detox days.

Protecting your mind from negativity allows your brain to reset and stay focused on the present.

8. Get Enough Quality Sleep

Sleep is crucial for mental and emotional health. When you’re well-rested, your brain processes emotions better, reduces anxiety, and supports overall well-being.

Improve your sleep by:

  • Creating a relaxing bedtime routine.
  • Turning off screens at least 1 hour before sleep.
  • Keeping your bedroom cool, dark, and quiet.

Consistency matters more than duration—try to sleep and wake at the same time daily for better mood regulation.

9. Celebrate Small Wins

When you celebrate small achievements, your brain gets a dose of dopamine, which boosts motivation and happiness. Don’t wait for big milestones—acknowledge your daily efforts.

Ideas to celebrate:

  • Check off completed tasks and smile about your progress.
  • Share your wins with a friend or journal about them.
  • Treat yourself with something simple like a break, a walk, or your favorite tea.

Over time, this trains your brain to associate effort with reward and positivity.

10. Help Others and Be Kind

Acts of kindness activate the reward center of your brain and lead to what scientists call a “helper’s high.” Helping others reduces stress, improves self-worth, and enhances connection.

Start small:

  • Offer to help a neighbor or coworker.
  • Compliment someone sincerely.
  • Donate time, skills, or resources to a cause you care about.

Kindness is contagious—and it trains your brain to focus on compassion rather than comparison.

Final Thoughts

Your Brain Can Be Rewired for Joy

Happiness isn’t a destination—it’s a skill you can build. By adopting simple daily habits like gratitude, mindfulness, exercise, and kindness, you can train your brain to feel happier, healthier, and more balanced. Remember, change doesn’t happen overnight, but with consistency and intention, your mind will adapt in powerful ways.

Start today with just one practice. Over time, these small actions will lead to big results in your mental well-being. Your journey to a happier brain begins with one thought: You deserve to feel good.

But the good news is that scientists and pharma R&D companies have succeeded to formulate several vaccines against Covid virus. Few of these vaccines have shown very good results for their safety and efficiency measurements in the III phase of the clinical trials. They are safe for use and also efficient to kill the Covid virus. There are variations in outcome rates but few have achieved up to 95% as reported in news to general public.

But, important is that, at least, now we have Covid vaccines. Because, earlier, there was no any Covid vaccine or any arm to stop or reduce the infection.

Total 67 Covid vaccines are in clinical trials on humans and 20 of them are in the final stages of testing.

Each country has its own rules and regulations, therefore, the developers and pharma companies have to get each government´s permission for vaccination.

I am going to talk about one.

One of my friends is a nurse. My friend has received vaccination.

Before vaccination with the 1st dose, my friend was a little bit afraid or nervous because there were so many questions and doubts in mind. Moreover, it reached the day, Wednesday in the first week of 2021, of vaccination.

"Subscribe for next post notification: https://www.latestfoto.com/p/subscrib.html?m=1 "

My friend received an injection of the 1st dose of Covid vaccine. Next day I called my friend over the phone asking about the health and feelings.

My friend told me there was no change i.e. a normal life. No effect on health and feelings. My friend, after 1st dosis, was living with the same feelings as having every day in daily life.

This was good news for me. Earlier I was also a little bit worried. Why not I had to worry? This is one of my good friends from a long time.

"Subscribe for next post notification: https://www.latestfoto.com/p/subscrib.html?m=1 "

On the 21st day, my friend received an injection of the 2nd dose of Covid vaccine.

Next day my friend informed me of having a fever and muscular pain. Nevertheless it was normal. Medical doctor already informed my friend about facing these health problems for one day and next day everything would be OK.

Today I called my friend and now everything was OK. Fever and muscular pain disappeared. Now a normal life. Overall, we have to face fever and muscular pain for one day after 2nd vaccination against Covid virus.

As it is reported, there will be 95% immunity generation against Covid virus at 7 days ofter second dose of Covid vaccine, thus in few days, my friend will have immunity against Covid virus i.e. Covid free.

My friend now will have a receipt of Covid vaccination that will help for performing travel and finding new jobs.

But, my friend still has to follow government rules and regulations which everyone is following currently to be safe from Covid virus.

The vaccine is Pfizer made but it is manufactured in Belgium as my friend told me.

Europe's problem has become world's problem

G20 is a group of 20 countries for addressing world's problems. Many of these countries of G20 group are developing countries.

G7 is a group of 7 countries that address world's problems. All these countries of G7 group are developed countries.

Several other intergovernmental forums at international & regional levels are also working to address different international & regional problems. Few of them are;

- QUAD (America, Australia, Japan & India).

- SCO (Shanghai Corporation Organisation).

- BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa).

- Commonwealth countries.

-----------------------------------------------------
Reserve ✈️ & 🛏️ a Best Deal
-----------------------------------------------------

Many countries of one group belongs to another group. For example; G7 countries are also members of G20.

This makes, unfortunately, overlapping of problems discussed in one group with another group.

2022 summit of G20 group was celebrated in Bali & chaired by Indonesia.

India recieved presidency of G20 group in Bali summit to organize in 2023 the G20 summit in India.

After a summit of Finance Ministers of G20 countries in Bengaluru, India has organized two days summit of foreign ministers of G20 countries in 1-2 march, 2023. This summit is attended by representatives of 40 countries and multiple international organizations, including the foreign ministers of China, the US and Russia. This is a largest G20 foreign ministers' gathering in history of G20 meetings.

After meeting of Finance Ministers, the participating G20 countries did not reach a consensus to release a declaration of summit. Russia & China opposed to include Western countries supported paragraphs in the draft of declaration stating that Russia is the main reason of Ucrain invasion, & Russia & Ucrain war. It is somehow to justify Russia as an offender of world's problems which other countries including European countries are suffering due to high price, blocked supply chains, food & energy security.

No declaration is released after G20 summit of Foreign Ministers due to same reason. Russia & China opposed to texts written in the draft of declaration.

India is constantly abstent in UN votings on USA & its allies, specially European union, supported agendas to ban Russia internationally. There is a fight on to demonstrate who is dominant over international politics as it seems.

USA & European union want to expand NATO coverage area & Russians want to stop this expansion.

Ucrain becomes a battle ground for them.

Both parties of Ucrain & Russia war which started in Feb 2022 are trying their best to bring India in its side because India follows a non alliance policy from Nehru's era.

-----------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------

India believes in multipolar power distribution in international politics, not in bipolar politics which is currently in hands of USA & Russia.

That's why India is buying oils from Russia & sidewise it is supplying medicines etc to Ucrain for Ucranians population.

USA, Germany, France, Italy & many other main countries of European politics are constantly attempting to how to make pressures on India so that India can stop buying oil from Russia or somehow they are able to show India is in their favour such as through declaration of G20 summit.

Foreign print & television media of news are constantly raising several questions on India. Last year, in 2022, in European meetings, they have asked several questions to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, mainly were to clarify that India's side on the issue of Ucrain & Russia war, specially they questioned on the purchase of oil from Russia. To clarify India's position in Ucrain Russia war, last year, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had stated a statement in an interview with a popular Western news channel.

"Somewhere Europe has to grow out of the mindset that Europe’s problems are the world’s problems but the world’s problems are not Europe’s problems. That if it is you, it’s yours, if it is me it is ours. I see reflections of that,” he said.

This statement of the External Affairs Minister of India S Jaishankar turns into a very popular statement of debate in social media, news channels & international politics.

Few main European leaders, for example, German Chancellor, made a statement in favour that European union has to thoroughly think on "Europe’s problems are the world’s problems but the world’s problems are not Europe’s problems" before he started his official visit to India.

Italian young Prime Minister also did a two days visit to India as a chief guest and keynote speaker at the 8th Raisina Dialogue organized in Delhi. She praised Indian Primer Minister Narendra Modi for his role in International politics & urged India to play a central role for ending Russia Ucrain war.

Surprisingly, Italian Prime Minister responded to India Foreign Affairs Minister S Jaishankar's statement in Europe ""Europe’s problems are the world’s problems but the world’s problems are not Europe’s problems".

"Unfortunately Europe's problem has become today world's problem," she said in Raisina Dialogue in India.

Attack & counterattack through verbal statements, anyone can accept without any problem but a war in which peoples of both sides are dying are not acceptable in any case.

US, European union, India, China, Russia & Ucrain, and all engaged parties must have to block jointly first to those reasons due to which peoples are dying, without offendening any party involved in Russia Ucrain war.

Baba Ka Dhaba (बाबा का ढाबा) Review

The baba ka dhaba (बाबा का ढाबा) is nowadays very popular in social media. I also come to know this title and story few days ago, then I start to investigate for what is the case and how does it become so popular.

"Subscribe to receive notification of next post: https://www.latestfoto.com/p/subscrib.html?m=1 "

I read several articles published in online social media and newspapers, and watch several youtube videos posted by youtube creators including those videos which are posted by well know popular news channels. Now I write what do I feel for the Baba Ka Dhaba (बाबा का ढाबा).

The story starts from a 80-years old person Kanta Prasad who is living in the South Delhi's Malviya Nagar with his wife and managing a small food shop for earning. He does not live with his sons due to family disputes.

"Subscribe to receive notification of next post: https://www.latestfoto.com/p/subscrib.html?m=1 "

The popular food blogger and YouTuber Gaurav Wasan of the"Swad Official" has visited his shop one day, and recorded and posted a video on his official social media platforms demostrating that these old person are living poorly and need public support.

Because due to Coronavirus lockdown very few clients are visiting his shop for purchasing food. He is facing tough to earn few money for his own bread. Both, his wife and he, are very sad for the situation.

The video and news about the Kanta Prasad and his wife become viral in social media.

On an appeal of Gaurav Wasan, many people come forward to support the old person Kanta Prasad.

"Subscribe to receive notification of next post: https://www.latestfoto.com/p/subscrib.html?m=1 "

Few famous actors and social media popular names have shared the story and video of Kanta Prasad and his food shop for bringing it in public attention.

As a result of these public calls, many people have visited Kanta Prasad´s food shop, did purchasing of food as well as donations.

Kanta Prasad himself said that he earned 75000 rs in one day from this public support.

The blogger Gaurav Wasan has shared his, his wife and one other family member´s bank account numbers for accepting the donations. The problem starts at this point.

Kanta Prasad registers a case in police against Gaurav Wasan claiming that Gaurav Wasan has recieved 20 lakh Rs as donations but does not transfer this money to his bank account.

"Subscribe to receive notification of next post: https://www.latestfoto.com/p/subscrib.html?m=1 "

Gaurav Wasan is saying that all the money is transfered to Kanta Prasad and he has shown publically money transation report of his bank account.

Kanta Prasad  has recruited a manager, volunteers etc for managing his shop and crowd which is coming to purchase food.

Many companies like Pepsi etc has sponsored Kanta Prasad´s food shop.

I read somewhere he is planning to open a chain of new shops with the brand name Baba Ka Dhaba (बाबा का ढाबा).

Who is lying? I am not for judging this.

But I can say the old person should have kept patient. He has to give thanks to Gaurav Wasan, requests more help from him for branding and finding more clients, creating jobs and recruiting unemployed peoples (no volunteers or volunteer manager), and has avoided filling a case in police against Gaurav Wasan.

"Subscribe to receive notification of next post: https://www.latestfoto.com/p/subscrib.html?m=1 "

If the food blogger Gaurav Wasan has not recorded and posted Kanta Prasad´s story for his earning from his food shop, noone is going to know his situation.

Kanta Prasad should be very thankful to youtuber Gaurav Wasan. What do you think? You can share your comment.

It is also true that people post a story for benefit and we have to accept it.

"Subscribe to receive notification of next post: https://www.latestfoto.com/p/subscrib.html?m=1 "

Youtuber and blogger Gaurav Wasan has posted Kanta Prasad´s story to add more highlights in his name and fame showing he helps people living in poor situation, otherwise he has not done it.

Youtuber and blogger Gaurav Wasan should had open a bank account specifically for this purpose, and avoided to use his personal bank accounts for public cause

Gaurav Wasan should had said that 10% or whatever ammount of donations would go for other services; helping others, his own travel, food, whatever he thinks because he is using his own time to bring such stories in news.

"Watch my opinion in a video https://youtu.be/mG3myt7aS9Y "

Why not others are doing same? Because others donot have time. Do you have time? Blogger Gaurav Wasan is managing his time, contributing for awareness in society, so he should be praised and paid for it. What do you think? You can share your comment.

Best Travel Insurance for Spain

A Complete 2026 Guide

Everything you need to know about travel insurance for Spain — the legal minimum for a Schengen visa, what EU/UK health cards actually cover, top-rated providers, and how to avoid the #1 reason travel insurance gets rejected at the consulate.

Do You Actually Need Travel Insurance for Spain?

The answer depends entirely on your nationality and how you're entering the country. If you need a Schengen visa to visit Spain, travel medical insurance isn't optional — it's a legal requirement under EU law, and your application will be rejected without it. If you're a citizen of a visa-exempt country (the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and dozens of others for stays under 90 days), you're not legally obligated to carry travel insurance to enter Spain — but that doesn't mean it's a safe bet to skip it.

The official EU regulation behind the requirement is Regulation (EC) No 810/2009, known as the Visa Code, Article 15, "Travel medical insurance." It states applicants must prove they hold adequate travel medical insurance covering repatriation for medical reasons, urgent medical attention, emergency hospital treatment, or death, for their entire stay across the Schengen territory.

What Schengen-Compliant Travel Insurance Must Include

Per the official EU text, a policy submitted with a Spain visa application must meet these conditions:

  • Minimum coverage of €30,000 for medical expenses, hospitalization, and death, as set directly in Article 15(3) of the Visa Code
  • Valid across all 29 Schengen Area member states, not just Spain
  • Covers the entire duration of the applicant's intended stay or transit, with no gap in dates
  • Includes repatriation for medical reasons in case of serious illness or injury
  • Issued by a company whose claims would be recoverable within a Member State — consulates specifically check this
  • Holders of diplomatic passports are exempt from this requirement
A commonly cited industry figure: roughly 23% of Schengen visa rejections are linked to insurance problems — wrong travel dates on the certificate, insufficient coverage amounts, or providers that don't meet the recoverable-claims test. Double-checking your certificate against the checklist above before submitting is worth the five minutes it takes.

EU, UK & EEA Citizens

What GHIC/EHIC Covers (and What It Doesn't)

If you're an EU/EEA citizen, your national health insurance generally covers you in Spain without needing a separate Schengen-compliant policy. UK nationals can use the Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC), which replaced the EHIC after Brexit, to access Spain's state healthcare system on the same terms as a Spanish resident during a temporary visit. Existing EHIC cards remain valid until their printed expiry date; after that, UK travelers need to apply for a GHIC, free of charge, only through the official NHS website.

Both GHIC and EHIC are completely free to obtain. The NHS explicitly warns travelers to avoid third-party websites that charge a fee to "process" an application — there is no legitimate charge for either card.

Here's the catch: neither GHIC nor EHIC is a substitute for travel insurance, and the NHS says so directly. These cards only cover necessary state healthcare — they don't cover private hospital treatment, mountain rescue, medical repatriation back to your home country, or lost and stolen belongings. For a country like Spain, where ski accidents around Sierra Nevada or hiking injuries in areas like the Alpujarra or Pyrenees are common causes of costly rescue and repatriation, that gap matters. Most UK and EU guidance recommends carrying both your GHIC/EHIC and a separate private travel insurance policy.

Visa-Exempt Travelers (US, UK Short Stays, Canada, Australia, etc.)

If you don't need a visa for Spain, you won't be asked to show proof of insurance at the border in most cases — but that's a legal technicality, not a safety recommendation. Spain's public healthcare system will treat visitors in a genuine emergency, but non-residents without coverage can be billed directly, and repatriation flights are rarely, if ever, covered by a standard domestic health plan. Independent comparison outlets that track Schengen entry rules also note that from later in 2026, visa-exempt travelers will additionally need ETIAS travel authorization to enter Spain and the wider Schengen Area; ETIAS itself does not require proof of insurance, but border officials retain the right to ask about it.

What a Good Spain Travel Insurance Policy Should Cover

Beyond the €30,000 legal minimum, independent reviewers (NerdWallet, Forbes Advisor, US News) generally recommend checking a policy against this list before buying travel insurance for Spain:

  • Emergency medical treatment and hospitalization, ideally with a limit well above the €30,000 legal floor
  • Medical evacuation and repatriation, separately itemized (some budget plans cap this lower than the base medical limit)
  • Trip cancellation and trip interruption coverage
  • Baggage loss, theft, and delay coverage — genuinely relevant in Spain, where petty theft and pickpocketing are common in major cities like Barcelona and Madrid
  • Winter sports / ski coverage as an add-on if you're heading to Sierra Nevada or the Pyrenees
  • 24/7 multilingual emergency assistance hotline
  • Zero or low deductible — not a legal requirement, but preferred by many consulates and travelers alike

Frequently Asked Questions

Is travel insurance mandatory to enter Spain?

Only if you need a Schengen visa. Visa-exempt travelers (short-stay US, UK, Canadian, Australian visitors, for example) aren't legally required to show it at the border, but it's strongly recommended given that state healthcare doesn't cover repatriation or private treatment.

Does my US health insurance work in Spain?

Almost never for outpatient or hospital treatment — most US domestic health plans, including Medicare, provide little to no coverage outside the United States, which is exactly the gap Schengen-compliant travel medical insurance is designed to close.

Can I use my GHIC instead of buying travel insurance?

No. GHIC/EHIC only covers necessary state healthcare as a Spanish resident would receive it — it explicitly excludes private care, mountain rescue, and repatriation, all of which travel insurance is meant to cover.

What's the minimum insurance amount required for a Spain visa?

€30,000 in medical coverage, as set by Article 15 of EU Regulation 810/2009, valid across the entire Schengen Area and for the full length of your stay.
