What is palliative care?
It aims to relieve symptoms such as pain, fatigue, nausea, and emotional distress, providing physical, psychological, and spiritual support.
Unlike curative treatments, palliative care is not intended to cure the illness but to enhance comfort and well-being.
It can be provided alongside other medical treatments and is suitable for patients at any stage of their illness, not just at the end of life.
