Amazon.com Best Sellers

Amazon bestsellers What is this? 

Others manufacturers who sell the products on Amazon platform are not bestsellers? 

They donot do profitable business because they are not in Amazon bestsellers list?

How has been decided for who is the bestseller? I have many questions. 

Whatever I understand for the Amazon platform and its bestseller program, I am going to explain it. May be I am wrong but I expressed by writting a post regarding the Amazon best sellers program. 

In my opinion, the bestseller refers to numbers of a product which have been sold. Nevertheless, the price of this product cound be $1. And it is in the demand. 

Suppose Amazon is able to sell 100 copies of that product. Then total sale is 100 x $1 = $100. The logistic cost is 0.1% per product. Therefore in this case total logistic cost will be $0.1 x 100 = $10. Suppose the margin of the benefit is 30%. That means total earning is $20 on selling 100 copies of the product. 

Now we see the second situation. The price of the product is $100. By Amazon platform it was sold only 1 copy of the product i.e $100. Now logistic cost will be in this case $0.1 x 1 = $0.1 only. Suppose the margin of the benefit is 30%. Hence the manufacturer will earn $29.90. 

Now the question is who is the bestseller? The first or second manufacturer? What do you think? You can write your answer in the comment section.
