What is the benefit of using option "Night Light" of laptop

The "Night Light" feature on laptops (and other devices) is designed to reduce the amount of blue light emitted by the screen.

Blue light, especially in the evening or at night, can interfere with your sleep patterns by suppressing the production of melatonin, a hormone that regulates sleep.

Here are the benefits of using the Night Light option:

Reduced Eye Strain: Blue light can cause eye strain, discomfort, and dryness, especially when staring at screens for extended periods.

Night Light reduces the amount of blue light emitted, making it easier on your eyes.

Improved Sleep Quality: Exposure to blue light in the evening can disrupt your circadian rhythm and make it harder to fall asleep.

By reducing blue light, Night Light helps signal to your body that it's time to wind down, potentially improving your sleep quality.

Enhanced Comfort: Many users find that the warmer color temperature of Night Light (usually a reddish hue) is more comfortable for evening use, especially in low-light environments.

Customizable Settings: Depending on your device, you can often adjust the intensity and schedule of Night Light to suit your preferences and daily routine.

Overall, using the Night Light feature on your laptop can contribute to healthier sleep patterns and reduce eye strain, particularly if you frequently use your laptop in the evenings or at night.

Why 2 TB Hard Drive Shows 1.81 TB in Windows

1 GB is 1024MB

Why Toshiba external disc show 1.81 TB equal to 2.000.396.832.768 bytes?

The reason for this discrepancy lies in how storage capacity is marketed and calculated.

When manufacturers market storage devices like external hard drives, they often use the decimal system (base 10) to calculate capacities.

In the decimal system, 1 terabyte (TB) equals 1,000 gigabytes (GB), 1 gigabyte equals 1,000 megabytes (MB), and so on.

However, computers use binary arithmetic (base 2) to calculate storage capacities. In the binary system, 1 terabyte (TB) equals 1,024 gigabytes (GB), 1 gigabyte equals 1,024 megabytes (MB), and so forth.

So, when you convert the capacity of 1.81 TB to bytes using the binary system, you get a slightly different number compared to the decimal system that the manufacturer uses for marketing.

The actual storage capacity in bytes is calculated as follows:

1.81 TB * 1024 GB/TB * 1024 MB/GB * 1024 KB/MB * 1024 B/KB = 1,953,870,863,616 bytes.

This value is very close to the number you provided, 2,000,396,832,768 bytes.

The difference between these two numbers could be due to the way storage is formatted and partitioned on the drive, as well as the space reserved for system files and formatting overhead.

My laptop screen gets stucked What to do

If your laptop screen is stuck or frozen, it can be frustrating, but there are several steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:

Force Restart: Sometimes, a simple force restart can solve the problem. On most laptops, you can do this by pressing and holding the power button for about 10 seconds until the laptop turns off. Then, wait a few seconds and turn it back on.

32 GB SD Card is much better than 64 GB or 128 GB

There isn't a strict rule that states you should use only low-storage capacity SD cards (e.g., 32 or 16 GB) instead of higher capacity ones (e.g., 64 or 128 GB).

The choice of SD card storage capacity depends on your specific needs and use cases.

However, my personal experience suggests that there are a few factors to consider when choosing an appropriate SD card capacity:

How to remove red x on desktop icons windows 11 home

You may have a question: How to remove red x on desktop icons windows 11 home, and found on the Internet many websites informing you of a method to solve this question. Some describe 4 methods, some 5 methods, and some other tricks. But what is the exact reason I am going to write in this article? All others did not work in my case.

I bought 2-3 months ago a new HP laptop because my old laptop was little slow when I was executing any task on laptop. The price of this HP laptop was approximately 500 euros. You can look for one for you from our collections.
-----------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------
Speed of the Laptop to execute the task was satisfactory, so I was happy. But, one day I found that I am unable to see glimpses of my photos or folders because it makes it easy to find my photos or files by opening them. We call this "thumbnail". A thumbnail is a small image representation of a large photo or folder.

Not only this, I found a Red X with each icon, photo, and folder of my laptop as you can see in the following image.

I took this large picture to clarify the situation.

Exactly what we have to do to solve this issue?

When we set up our laptop, at some stage the window asks us to write our "Hotmail" email account id and password. We write it. During this, in a hurry, we agreed to link "One Drive" with our laptop to synchronize the files, photos etc.

One Drive is an online storage space linked with Hotmail where you can store your photos and files. Since this is stored on Microsoft server, you can open and download your photos and files anywhere using your Hotmail account id and email. It is similar to Google Drive which you can find in your Android mobile phone.

Now we come to the question: what to do? You have to unlink your OneDrive from your laptop and this will remove Red X and also you will see thumbnails of each photo and file.
Let's start step by step.

Windows 11 home is installed in my laptop but most laptops and PCs have very similar settings, so you have to understand the steps and this will make it easy to find the solution.

Step 1. Click on Start icon as you can see in the following image.

Step 2. Now click on All app option.

Step 3. You will see OneDrive option. If you don't see, write OneDrive in search to find it.

Step 4. Click on OneDrive. Now you will see several options.

Step 5. Click on Open in the options.

Step 6. Click on image of Cloud as you can see in the following photo. I put my Cursor on a cloud image.

Step 7. Click on Settings.

Step 8. Click on Account.

Step 9. Click on "Unlink this PC". This will unlink your PC or laptop from OneDrive. On unlinking your photos and files of your PC or laptop will not get synchronized automatically with online server of storage i.e. OneDrive.

Step 10. Now you will see there are few changes automatically happening in your PC or laptop. Maybe you don't find the "Pictures" folder on the left side. So you have to click on "Desktop", then you will see an option Pictures.

Step 11. Click on Pictures. You will find the Red X are removed. You can see the thumbnails of your photos and files which make it easy for you to select the images and files.

Reason for appearing Red X and no appearing thumbnail.

This happens due to OneDrive storage capacity.

Since my OneDrive was already full with photos and files, it did not have a space to synchronize new photos and files stored in my PC or laptop, and this created an error which was appearing as Red X with each file and photo.

Even when you investigate about file or photo properties, you will find it is written "Error"

My problem is already solved following these steps. Hopefully, your problem is also solved, Now I need a break and to support me you can buy a coffee ☕ for meYou can use QR code for buying. It's very easy.
