Arroyo de la Angostura y Presa del Pradillo

Good morning 🌅🌄

Do I forget to do a travel for visiting Arroyo de la Angostura y Presa del Pradillo? This is a route for senderism very close to Madrid in between mountains of Guadalajara.
Rascafría is closest village on this route and very popular among tourists who are traveling in this mountain 🏔️🌄 area of Guadalajara.

Guadalajara is very close to Madrid, so many madrileños drive their cars in weekend to reach in this area in one hour & spend whole day viewing natural beauty of mountains, walking on routes, feeling & taking fresh air for respiration & spending times with girlfriend, boyfriend, family & kids. Since hotels and other accommodation facilities for stay, & restaurants and bars for food & drink are available in Rascafría village, so you don't need to be hurrying for finishing your excursion of this mountaineer area.

Now the question is if I forget to do a trekking of
Arroyo de la Angostura y Presa del Pradillo. I am a member of a club of senderism of Valladolid city.  Various clubs and independent groups for senderism are operating from Valladolid city, similar will be from Madrid.

I did reservation of my seat in travel bus 15 days on receiving an email from the club side informing me the route of Arroyo de la Angostura y Presa del Pradillo is planned for 20 Nov and you can book your seat if you are interested to do this 1 day excursion. It is planned to leave Valladolid at 7:45 am and return to Valladolid at 8 pm i.e. to spend 12 hours in trekking and bus tour.

Valladolid to Guadalajara is 1.5 to 2 hours one side journey, so we we have to spend 4 hours in two sides journey (going & returning).
The price is 12 euros for members but you can find offers from 14 to 25 euros for doing a trip from Valladolid to Arroyo de la Angostura y Presa del Pradillo.

Why I didn't do this journey? The reason is meteorology prediction. The weather ☁️ forecast of the Meteorological Agency of Spain AEMET was showing 90% chance of rain 🌧️☔ in this area and I don't want to take a risk because I have to do an international travel soon which is already booked. If I am having my next travel, I am sure I have gone to do this 1 day trekking in between heavy rains, darkness, black cloud, low visibility, above to all at low temperature.

Our club has already recommended to bring several plastic bad to cover the trekking boots 🥾 after walk to avoid to make the bus dirty. And it is also recommended to bring raincoat, one pair of shoes additional & wear enough cloths to cover yourself completely to save yourself from cold. All of these we need for doing trekking. You can purchase them from our collections if you want for your trekking in such conditions.
