Proyecto de Innovación docente

What is "Proyecto de innovación docente"? Or What is a teaching innovation project? This terminology is very famous and known if you are working as a teaching professional. Because it is directly related to your career. You need to demonstrate that you have leaded few projects related to teaching innovation. 

In teaching line of the university in Spain, one of the requirements to get a job of teaching professional is to demonstrate accreditation or in simple word a certification from ANECA (an public agency of evaluation) that you are a qualified professional for teaching. 

You have to submit to ANECA your CV with all the certificates which you recieved for your activities in teaching, investigation and innovation, then committee of the ANECA will evaluate your achievements in accordance to established criterias o standards, and if you are passing on standards, the ANECA will release a certificate stating that you are eligible for assistant professor ( Profesor Ayudante Doctor or for Professor Contratado Doctor). Then after few years of teaching you need to obtain a certificate for associate professor (Professor Titular). Because, one of the essential requirements of the job vacancies of university associate professor in Spain is to show you are qualified (accreditation) person for associate professor. Similarly you have to achieve a certificate for Catedrático (Full Professor). Without these certificates, the Spanish universities are unable to provide you teaching job contracts of these ranks. 

The criteria includes several options of achievements that you can show, & one of them is to be a principal investigator of teaching innovation projects. Of course, such projects are financed from university budget, therefore, the funding assigned for projects are ver low amount of money, no money to 2000-3000 euros. 

Profesor ayudante doctor is a 4 years contacts in the Spanish universities, but it normally allows you to get a permanent position in the university where you have been contacted. Few days ago it comes in notice that contracts of 4 years of profesor ayudante doctor is paid from university own budget, therefore, most of university prefer to have teaching professionals at profesor titular level (associate professor) because in this case, the salary is paid by the Spanish government, not by the university. 

In India, as much as it is known, CSIR NET / GATE certificate, which you achieve on a written exam at national level, not on the base of your CV & achievements, allows that you are eligible for job vacancies of university assistant professor (American education system) or lecturer (British education system). Next levels i.e. associate professor and full professor depends on your experience and seniority in teaching & investigation line. There is no any public agency at national level which evaluate your CV & achievements, & release a certificate stating that your are qualified for associate professor or full professor. It totally depends on criterias or standards established by the university selection committee. Is it right?

No, it is not correct as per Indian perspective. Actually, in India, UGC set guideline for assessment under direct selection or through career advancement scheme. In their format there is seperate section to assess your Teaching, Contribution to Institution Build up and Research. It is essential that person must score qualifying marks under each section. Later on, there CV was secruitnized by internal and external expert members followed by  interview by board members. Although, some universities have strictly follow the norms but now-a-days, especially in colleges, administration is very lenient and grant promotion.

10% Reservation for Economically Poor General Class in India

Today a news is reported in Indian media that out of 5, three judges of supreme court of India have voted to retain 10% reservation for general class who belongs to poor economy category. 

In this 10% reservation for economically poor people, few are asking to include OBC, ST & SC also.

10% reservation is against the previous judgement that reservation cannot be beyond the 50% because now it becomes 60%. 

Few are debating to include the private sectors also under all these reservations. 

From schooling time Indian youths hearing regarding reservation. Political parties use it as a tool to get votes, either it is a political party that is governing to India or it is in opposition.

Reservation must be only based on economic situation of each indian family. Many families of ST, SC & OBC categories who are economically very strong but they are still enjoying the reservation. 

Another side, many families of ST, SC & OBC categories who are very poor and unable to get benefits of reservation because they are unable to send their kids to school, provide a good education & achieve the degrees which are required for submitting their applications for job vacancies. 

In fact, the parents make these kids & youths busy in earning money for daily food because there is no any other option. Indian government can provide economic support to them. Reservation is only helping few people. 

In general class also many people are poor & don't have money to buy their daily food.

Reservation has made the situation more dangerous because youths of indian general class now consider themselves useless. Because the 50% reservation categories are allowed to compete in rest 50% and this way they have more than 50% reservation. Thus, general class youths have much less options for government jobs. Therefore, they look towards private sectors but few are debating to putting the private sectors also under reservation. 

Indian government has already declared many times that job vacancies are scarce in government sector. 

Current Indian primer minister, of course, has informed Indian public to provide 10 lakh government jobs till the end of year. 

Why it is happening? Because, election will be soon convocated to choose new members for Indian parliament. 10 lakh votes are a good amount of vote.

A well known fact, and also it is a fact of many countries that most of the government jobs don't require so much of your efficiency as the private jobs require. 

In a private job, you can be terminated any time. Government job insure to continuity of your job. 

India does not have implemented social security system which allows to recieve economic support on being unemployment. 

Economically poor people are present in each Indian class whether it is middle class, OBC, SC and ST. 10% reservation in job vacancies certainly support to improve their economic situation. 

Reservation must be on economic based because overall objective of the reservation is to support those people who are poor in India.
