Stand up comedian profession ! it is bad

What do you think to take seriously Stand up comedian profession. I am thinking about this profession. Is it bad or is it good to perform funny talks and give smiles on the face of public. I know it is a tough profession at begining because you donot know what type of subjects your audience would like to hear from you as a comedy talk. But everything begins from zero. Few of the highest paid stand up comedian are Kevin Hart, Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Goffigan, Trevor Noah. I am sure all of them have started from zero and now they earn millions per year.
